Joshua J. Lee, J.D.

Associate and Social Enterprise Fellow

Joshua J. Lee, JD, is an Associate and a Social Enterprise Fellow at the firm.

Joshua obtained his law degree from NYU School of Law where he served as an Articles Editor for the NYU Journal of Law and Business and a member of the NYU Law & Business Association and the NYU Social Enterprise & Startup Law Group.  As a member of these organizations Joshua helped further the social entrepreneurship movement through projects such as assisting local social entrepreneurs with forming their business, and contributing to the creation of a legal guidebook for impact investors and social entrepreneurs in East Africa.

Josh also served as a Teaching Assistant in Civil Procedure for Professor Helen Hershkoff.

Prior to joining BCL, Joshua was a summer associate with the Information and Security Division of Walmart where he handled technology transactional work and assisted with ensuring a range of regulatory and compliance issues.  

Joshua earned his B.S Degree in Biochemistry from University of California, San Diego, and worked as a chemist prior to starting his legal career.
